week 1

a week in the wee van already:)
it's all going well, alreday got a routine and smelly pits, happy days.
I'd like to say that I've developped an obsession with sunrise but having got up at 6 twice only , not sure if it qualifies as such yet?
anyway, the place is gorgeous, we've followed the north island east coast down to wellington and it was a stunner all the way. been blessed with sunshine as well.
it's off to the south island on the ferry 2mo, very exciting. it's 3 hours, almost like a cruise. Wonder if they'll have burger king on board?

been parking up "wild" and so far no threat of being deported, just a warning from Gisborne council. Bless the warden, he left a note on the windscreen but let us sleep on. maybe he saw the empties... 20 firemen and 2 engines also turned up at our very secluded cemetery park up once..... I was ready to say please don't shoot but turns out it was an exercise. What's the chances eh?? we just stared at an upside down map and pretended to have got lost...
