Firstly, not sure if I have said before but please forgive any typos. Sometimes I only have about 15 mins to log on so have to type quick and often I cant understand the keyboard as its in chinese. Luckily they are mostly "Querty" keyboards and my rusty GCSE in typing is coming in useful!!.

Spent saturday at the world cup qualifiers. It was really dull - NOT!!. Had a great time. The sun was out at Hong Kong FC which is in the middle of town and at least 5-6 glorious buzzards were flying overhead. First match I saw was Malaysia v Guam (Sp?) - I didnt even know there was a country called Guam. Then Kazakstan v Thailand (0-24) Tapei v Singapore (38 v 5) and then Sri Lanka v India. I wont divulge the score for the latter match but suffice to say India came second and I must have been the only India support in the stadium I am sure as I could only hear my own voice bellowing around the stadium!

Other mens teams included China, Japan, Korea and of course Hong Kong (who did very well).

Then on to the womens 7's - no Indian representation but other countries were there including Japan Thailand China, Arabian Gulf, Kazakstan and of course Hong Kong. I have to say the standard was pretty amazing - I was very impressed with Thailand in particular. Took loads of pictures (still unable upload them) not so much for my own benefit but more for HOVE WRFC (they will know what I mean when they see the pictures)

Small world though - bumped into a girl that I know from rugby who I've played against. She was the second/back row (cant remember) for Wasps II and is now back in Hong Kong which is home for her and was playing for KH in the tournament. We exchanged numbers and I am hoping to hook up with her for a drink when I head back to HK in early November

Also bumped into a hove rugby girls' boyfriends sister whom I have only seen pictures of on facebook. Again I hope to hook up with her on my return leg to HK

Have to go back to HK as there is soooooo much I havent done including going to Macau, seeing the big Budda, going on the peak tram and lots more

Loved every bit of my stay in HK but its been more of a mini holiday than "travelling" given that my mate showed me around and I stayed in a hotel (no complaints from me though!!)
