Hi Friends-

I'm getting ready to venture out for another phase of my year. What a great ride it has been so far! My next phase will begin on January 1 and will take me to tango lessons in Buenos Aires, then on to Ushuaia (the southernmost city in the world on the tip of Tierra del Fuego), and then on to Antarctica! This journey will be on a 1911 Dutch clipper ship along with 50 other 'crewmembers'. We will be sailing the Antarctic waters and stopping somewhere each day. You can follow the ship by logging onto the website www.barkeuropa.com. Click on the British flag (unless you can read Dutch), and then check out the logbook and the photos! After disembarking, I will be spending a few weeks exploring Patagonia. During my 7 week interim in Colorado I did meet a great guy who will be joining me and sharing in my adventure after I get off the ship. I look forward to hearing from you and will completely appreciate any warm thoughts you send my way!

Wow, this just sounds like the wildest dream coming true. Have a wonderful time, eat and drink well, and most important, be safe. The 'great guy' on the scene makes me very happy indeed!!

ps The family brought in the new year at a fishing camp in Corbett national park, and all the adventure of crossing a river 4 times to reach it really made me think of you!

I've missed you since madagascar! What fantastic adventures you're having!!!! I thought that you might be back in c.s., but no! Kip and I are in our AZ house, on a different "planet" than yours!! We're still making new friends, working on a patio addition, looking forward to visits from our kids, expecting grandchild#2 in May, a girl, so it'll be fun to have a baby girl and boy too! Wish we could talk...so happy for your new guy friend to travel with! Hope we'll meet up again some day! Have fun and be safe! Love, Kay
