My mom has finally joined me in Rome! It is GREAT to have someone to walk with, talk with, laugh with, eat with and watch my bags so I don't have to carry them into the bathroom with me! SHE had 2 gelatos today (I only had one)!

Ok....next day....she only had one gelato (so far) and I had 2! Chocolate/pepperoncini mixture-not zippy, but really brings out the deep chocolate flavor! Mix it with passion fruit, mango, peach.....true decadence!

P.S. I noticed that few add what is going on back home. Is that a personal choice or do you just not have time to read 'fluff'? OR is fluff sent to your personal email?...duh, I don't know how this Blog thing works!!! ha Love ya

Hi Lynn, its great to read about your adventure and experiences - you are going to such fascinating places and relaying all of the ups and downs. Traveling alone sounds like a lot of work and stress to go with the good, but you have obviously seen a side of people that you would have missed traveling with someone. I couldn't do it though.
