One of the smaller canals bordered with houses and shops. I cycled around all the small alleys in this area which was a great experience.

The old ramshackle shops contained all manner of strange things. The Chinese seem to take great pride in their traditional crafts whereas so many other countries don't.

A bridge traversing one of the minor canals leading on to a much larger one. I wanted to hire a boat and now regret that I didn't.
