Bijaipur, Rajasthan. A young goat herder makes her way through the village of Bijapur, corralling the goats through the narrow cobbled streets. Cradled in her arms, an injured goat is undoubtedly cherishing the much needed lift.

A cheeky young boy, defending his lotus crisps enjoying the simple pleasure of life having a joke with the local village security. Looking after all the kids of the village while the parents are out picking cotton and opium, the man takes up the arduous challenge.

Strolling past the school with is doors locked shut; my only hope is that the future is bright for the youngest of the village.
