Just got into Ruby Elegance Hotel - met with mango smoothies and a really wonderful shower. Thank god! It was a long, long trip. I'm happy to be finally here.
We had a 2 hour lay-over in Seoul. Man, that airport has more high end shops than Rodeo Drive. And people were shopping, shopping, shopping. I had my own little "Accidental Tourist" moment in the airport where I tried to order a frappacino at the Seoul Airport Starbucks (I know, I know - but I was so tired) and they didn't have any of the "american" frappacino flavors. It just reminded me of the book where the travel writer informs travels to take of X numbers of pickles from a McDonnald hamburger in Paris in order for it to taste like home.
Anyway - I've been up for well over 32 hours - crossing the date line is throwing off my time. So I am off to bed. Oh, and we arrived in at 12:01 am, 1 minute after Jared's birthday. Happy birthday Jared!
I'll try to check in again tomorrow night. Our room comes with a laptop with WiFi.
