Cabo day 3

MEXICO | Wednesday, 10 August 2022 | Views [149]

On our third day in Cabo we were still so full that we didn't go eat. We've just been eating too much on this trip. Instead we relaxed in the hotel and then after the sun went down a little bit at 3 PM we took the car out to go to a beach. As I expected the beach was on a compound property.

In between Cabo Saint Lucas and Jose the Cabo there is something called the tourist corridor and it is comprised of huge all inclusive resorts. Apparently the beaches are supposed to be available for everyone but you have to access the beach to the resort. Well JARED being Jared he just had me roll down the window at the Hilton and told him that we wanted to have lunch there and where could we have parking for a disabled person. So we parked at the Hilton and walked through one of the fanciest hotels I've ever seen and saw the lazy river and all the swim at Barr's and we ended up just walking right down to the beach and hung out there for about an hour.

We were approached by several sales persons – one wanted to sell us marijuana and Quaaludes. We did not want either of those things. And several others were trying to sell a silver jewelry. I wasn't feeling great so we left a little early to come back to the hotel.

we had planned to go to a big splashy dinner for our seventh anniversary which is today but I was not feeling well. Instead JARED went around the corner and got a huge feast to go including fish tacos and ceviche and a huge amount of guacamole. It was delicious but it was about four times too much!

I still wasn't feeling great so I stayed in and Jared just went out to get a massage and to pick up some topo Chico and cokes for later on today. Unfortunately I had scheduled today for some souvenir shopping and I feel like I'm light on souvenirs for people. I hope that we can get up early tomorrow and perhaps by a few little things for folks.
