coast 2 coast world - here we come.

rainy spain

SPAIN | Sunday, 11 May 2008 | Views [522] | Comments [2]

spain has been fairly quiet - as bad weather and drying up funds have seen us lay pretty low, catching up on reading and enjoying a few red wines and some spanish tapas.

We did take in a exhibition, Egypt´s Sunken Treasures, which consists of a huge number of objects, statues etc uncovered from underwater digs from the sunken city of Alexander and others in the surrounding area. Very interesting and amazing to think how advanced the culture was back then.

We had a few things to buy in preperation for our upcoming stint in Central America so visited town, and had some nice meals but again everything seems to be served with a side of chips, which has lost its appeal and thankfully last night we found a salad buffet and enjoyed some fresh food!

Also managed to call home for Mothers Day.

Not positive we will be able to upload more pics today, as this internet cafe not set up very well, but have them on CD so will endeavour to do so over coming days.

Both are very excited to get back near the beach and begin the major section of our adventure - Mexico to Panama for the next four months - hola.
