My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Swedish Sami people’s first language is not Swedish so having a Sami person speak to you in English show’s how tourist interest is growing and how the Sami people are adapting and willing to welcome foreigners into their way of life. The name Lapland comes from the word Lap, which is a term that has been used for Sami people, but it is seen as a derogative word so it’s best to refer to them as Sami.
