Small trades in big China. In China's 1.3 billion population, many are street merchants. They practice every trade imaginable. Some are barbers and some are butchers. Here are a few of these people.

My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

A street market in Hunan Province's Zhangjiajie. Everyday produce is brought into town and sold in makeshift markets scattered throughout Chinese cities. This basic form of commerce is still widespread in a country that also counts luxurious supermarkets and high-end car dealerships.
