Bangkok!!!
I stayed in the China town district...dunno if that makes any difference, and I don't really know where it is.
Got off to a great start cos they upgraded my room to a Suite with a balcony, especially after I managed to get an exit seat on the plane.
Decided to take to wondering the streets...a plan I soon changed, cos I got lost, but all was ok, just paid a tuk tuk driver to take me to the Royal Palace.
Spent the whole day looking at various Buddahs - sitting, standing,lying, lucky...so many!
The traffic in this place is insane...kind of adrenalin inducing...if that's possible through all the smog.
It was good to spend a day here, but don't know that I'd really ever want to spend more than that, once you've seen a bit it seems to repeat itself over and over.
Same same but DIFFERENT!
