Christmas day

NEW ZEALAND | Wednesday, 26 December 2007 | Views [1062] | Comments [1]

Paul cooked an amazing christmas dinner for us, Nick (left) and Mike (in the middle of the piccy) our flatmates also joined us. This was the first time that Nick had eaten a 'proper christmas dinner' he hadn't even had Yorkshire Puddings before, can you believe it! A typical New Zealand Christmas dinner is salad based, I suppose that this makes sense being that it is hot here! Hope that everyone at home had a lovely christmas day!

Thought I would show you a little of what we got up to on our surreal christmas day, we made sure that it was as traditional as possible by cooking a yummy christmas dinner!  We also went for a very sunny bike ride, even managing to get a wee bit sunburned, it was a strange day indeed, not like christmas at home!

Lisa & Paul,
We had a good time on Xmas day, lots to drink & eat. First time for Shirley to meet Sarah's parents, it went well.
I didn't argue with Sarah's dad, as Ant thought I would, I'm saving that up!
Unfortunately no bike ride & very little sun (almost the shortest day). Surreal with us also, virtually no cars on the M5 going to Ant's, quite a pleasure driving. We are going to Carols on Friday for a curry night. Sounds good!
Keep the photos & stories flowing, talk to you soon.
Dad.
