The US of A WANTS me!
I exagerate... I have merely obtained my USA visa waiver, a snip at $14. Everything I buy at the moment seems to be a snip...but then you add it up and come to a mouthwatering total which really doesn't bear thinking about.
OK, a quick recap of the PLAN for any interested parties...
22nd July - End of School - hurray!!
24th July - Leave Heathrow for Japan. Arrive on 25th, 2 days in Tokyo, 2 days in Kyoto (current plan, if trains and planes and brains all do the things they're supposed to)
29th July - Leave Tokyo, arrive in Auckland 30th July. From this point, I will be meandering through the beautiful country of New Zealand for 3 and a half weeks. Expect thrills, spills and strictly no bungee jumping.
25th August - depart Christchurch (well, the bits that are left) to pit stop in Auckland, followed by a flight backwards in time to San Francisco, arriving several hours before departure. Its true: I have superpowers!
29th August - board flight home. Arrive next morning. Collapse in small, quivering heap in the midlandsfor several days before surfacing to face the miscreants of London schools once more.
So, onwards! I look forward to entertaining one and all with inane commentry and bad photography.
