Amazon

Hi again everyone.  We are now in Iquitos the capitol of the Amazon.  It took us roughly 8 days to get here from Pucallpa after our cargo boat was delayed in port for 2 and a half days but it was an adventure worth the wait (Lee - Ann wasn´t so sure).  Iquitos is the largest city in the world (approx 5000,000 people) that can´t be reached by road.  Any cars that are there (there are only a few) come up the river on one of the cargo boats we caught.  The are thousands of motor bikes and almost as many of these motocaro´s which are like 3 wheel motor bikes with the back closed in.  We spent a few days in Iquitos and then headed up the Amazon and stayed a couple of days at a lodge in the Amazon jungle.  It was very extremely hot and humid and Lee - Ann actualy jumped in the water with the pirhana´s (just kidding).  Any way I have posted just a few photos of our adventure and will post some more when we reach lake Titicaca.
