Ever since I wanted to become a photographer for National Geographic. I never really thought it to be a realistic wish, so I just kept this dream for myself mostly. Still I doubt that it will ever happen. But: as this dream hasn´t stopped repeating to pop into my mind since years, calling me, making me feel bad that I don´t do anything about it and as I grow older each year I fear that one of my biggest regrets in life could be that I never really tried it. I apply here for the third time by now, not expecting a big chance to win, as I´ve seen the quality and number of applications rising each year. But still, this is a chance I think I should take - if I should win, I´d become the most grateful and happiest person on earth to get this chance to work with a National Geographic Photographer. And if I don´t, well. Then I´ll book a flight and do my first photo-only expedition next year, finally starting to work on realizing my dream.
