Wow. What a day. Batesville to Branson takes about 7 hours. Cheap gas by the way at Winona Pilot (3.75) Senatobia (3.79) West Memphis (3.79 but the Pilot immediately across the river was 3.69) Moutain Grove (3.72 where I filled up) and Branson is surprisingly 3.79. Anyway some places were $4. Arkansas Delta was 95 by noon thirty but once I crossed into the Ozarks the temp dropped 10 degrees.
Crayton had a great time at Kamp. He is staying tonight and I will pick him up in the morning which has caused my first change. I thought we would spend the night 30 miles north in Springfield. But we wont make Springfield until 10:30-11:00 in the morning. We will hae a long, long day tomorrow. We are going 585 miles which will take about 10 hours. That means a late night because when I get there I have to do laundry.
The news today was awful about the boy scouts in Iowa. Please remember to pray for those families and the other scouts that had to go through that terrible event.
