Rain on the La Sal mountains east of Moab
I know you probably dont have time, but up in those mountains, the LaSalle's, is a little lake called Buckeye Reservoir. With primitive style camping, it needs to be on your next agenda. 4 wheel drive would be suggested if the weather is wet. Accessable either out of Moab through Castle Valley, or out of Paradox, CO. The road in is not for the faint of heart, so I know ya'll would enjoy it. Enjoy yourselves.
