A fishing community. – Monument to reflect.
This community has a long and strong bond with the commercial fishing industry and the Harbour. One of the main tourist attractions is the Harbour walkway, lined with references to the past and present success of the fishing industry in the region.
This monument caught my eye, simplistically reinforcing to visitors the strength of the industry locally. Not unlike the reality of fish in nets, this monument reflects the daily activity of the region.
