last night i celebrated thanksgiving with new friends, my family away from home. i did the whole deal, stuffing, mashed potatoes, brocolli casserole, (i cheated and didn´t cook a whole turkey), and pumpkin pie! the night was filled with food, friends, and loads of laughter. pictures can be found in the corresponding album.
i will, of course, miss the sounds, sights, and smells of my family´s thanksgiving meal of thursday, but i know that i am truly blessed to have them, to have the opportunity to live in spain, and to have made such wonderful new friends.
so to all of you reading this, i wish you a thanksgiving (and why not a lifetime?) of eating, praying, and loving.
