aside from the fact that i have the flu or something, hong kong has been amazing. we are holding camp at st. christopher's college, near the popular tourist spot, Stanley Market, providing us with endless shopping, pizza eating, and coffee drinking opportunities. Everyone is there now, but i decided to save my energy, since camp starts tomorrow.
on one of our days of staff training, we went out into the city to do a scavenger hunt and had great fun using Octopus Cards, taking a picture under the big TV in Times Square, and viewing Hong Kong from the Peak. Hong Kong has been all the bustle that I expected and also leisurely, and beautiful. The view from the college is breath-taking and my window has the ocean view!
While here, i found out that i will be teaching at Colegio San Juan Bosco in Torrejon de Ardoz in Madrid. It's still considered urban Madrid, although it's outside of the city. The metro ride isn't long.
all for now, L
