All Apologies

so i thought i'd have time to blog, but i was wrong.  so here is a basic run down...

we got to singapore and after 3 days of adjusting and staff training started camp with about 44 junior forum campers (ages 8-11).  they were insane.  it was hard.  we then had a few hours break (18) and hauled you-know-what to the nearest gap to pick up some things we wish we had.

we had a GREAT camp of senior forum students (ages 12-15) with about 74 campers.  we hung out, went to the beach (Sentosa Island), and went to an indian dance club and crazy karaoke bar before leaving for indonesia.

which is where i am now.  where singapore is planned, clean, and developed, indonesia is not.  i saw many hungry faces and run down shacks on the way to our hotel.  it bothers me that i know that the kids we will be working with are the elite few of the country...

there are riots going on in the city and were advised by Reva who works with SuperCamp Indonesia to stay in tonight, so we got dinner here and then some massages.  Mmmmmm.

Unfortunately no time to upload pics now, nor give a real update.  in fact, i don't think those will be happening til i go to spain.  life is busy here, but shared with good friends.

best, lauren
