Carrots, Handbags, Cheese (Something something) KUALA LUMPUR

Ask Becca.

With regard to our trip, we feel a numeric update is still an appropriate way to reach out to our adoring masses. So, er, here it is!

When we left you last we were limping (or Lauren was) through Goa... since then we have...

1. Slapped an Indian man, and threatened further violence.

2. Went to the red fort.  Hated it. A small boy attempted to acquire my earring.

3. Went to the Taj Mahal, and attempted to cross the river at dawn to see the sunrise.  The boat man was, however, asleep.

4. Wore shoe covers so as not to get the Taj Mahal dirty, even though it is outide and birds could poo on it.

5. Observed the 50m "no pollution producing vehicles" limit around the Taj Mahal.  This is in case of acid rain. NB - not only is this completely ridiculous to anyone with half a brain, moterbikes didnt count and were allowed to drive around freely. We are outraged.

6. Saw some (see some, read many) people pooing on the train tracks.

7. Saw some animals pooing discreetly in a bush.

8. Had a ten tea day. Ten cups of tea is a lot, for even the most dedicated.

9. Drank beer (1+1 = 4!) at the poshest hotel in Connaught place, Delhi. Got quite drunk. Paid on credit card.

10. Flew to Hong Kong, via Sri Lanka.  And Bangkok. What.

11. Found a room that is 3m X 5m, and contains 2 single beds and the smallest bathroom in the world. It is on the 14th floor. And costs 20 quid a night. Christ alive.

12. Accidentally befriended a man called Rick. He is a trucker from Indiana. He is so stupid it is amazing he can string a sentence. We hate him. Now he wont leave us alone. Today he informed us he'd found a grocery store.  There are at least 10 in a 5min radius of our hostel. He also has a moustache.

13. Saw Jackie Chans handprints.

14. Ate braised eels. Quite scrumptious!!

15. Ate McDonalds

16. Ate a second McDonalds

17. Went up Victoria Peak on the tram, and watched the sun set over Hong Kong. Ate at a Forrest Gump themed restaurant. Mmm Bubba. You think we're joking? We couldn't believe it either.

And thats all I have to say about that....
