    In the meantime, men are out working on their boat, preparing them for the rainy season where fishing will be the main activity. by: lauranc Views[318] Most women spend the day inside the home cooking and doing daily chores, such as this nun preparing some coconut milk for lunch. by: lauranc Views[266] Despite living in great poverty, the sense of community is strong. Like brothers and sisters, they all take tare care of each other and smile at life. by: lauranc Views[244] Although there are two schools in the village, not all the children can go to school and lots of them spend the days playing in the street. by: lauranc Views[217] This is the main street of Chong Kneas village at the edge of the Tonle Sap Lake, thirty minutes from Siem Reap. During the rainy season, Chong Kneas is a floating village, full of life and tourists navigating through in barks. The water reaches a few meters, hence the houses built high above the ground. For a community that mostly depends on fishing, it is almost as if life stops during the dry season. by: lauranc Views[296]
