    It's the irony of this shot that makes me laugh. He's a local boy, in a small village near Ubud yet he's wearing a t-shirt designed for a tourist. Clearly not shy around strangers he held his newest friend highly above his head and flashed a huge smile. The people of Bali are all like this boy, friendly and smiley! by: kurst22 Views[284] I love the simplicities of other cultures, take for example this broom. I came across it, gently leaning against the temple, a few dry leaves scattered around. by: kurst22 Views[310] The best part of travel for me is the people you meet. I believe anyone you meet can teach you something. Whilst on a tour of the Cewack coffee farm in Bali I met this lady. She was demonstrating how to roast the coffee beans. I found her face very warm and gentle. I think she's beautiful. by: kurst22 Views[380] I love alleyways. Rough roads, ram-shackled buildings, dirt and grime. I love it all. I had walked past this particular lane a couple of times before but it was at this moment it had the golden glow from the afternoon sun. by: kurst22 Views[594] The rice terraces near Ubud, Bali are something that needs to be seen. The fields are the most vibrant green. This lady paced back and forth loudly banging a stick and an old piece of perspex to scare away any birds. I loved the colours of her clothes against the green on the fields. by: kurst22 Views[2763]
