Japan Rail Pass- Tokyo

The beginning...

The beginning...

I'll make the JR Pass the first story, even though I've told most of you about it by now. I still haven't posted many pictures or really given details so here they are! Well, basic ones anyway, there are too many places to give you a full account of all of them.

Since I went home to Canada for Christmas, I was able to acquire the infamous JR Pass, only available outside the country. I figured this was the easiest way to make my waya around to those places I hadn't managed to get to in the last two years.

So, after hanging out in Nagoya for a couple days, I started the pass with a final (day) trip to Tokyo. Mainly, I wanted to see my dear friend who's living near there but also wanted to hit up Asakusa and Odaiba, new areas for me. It was a chilly but lovely day- I think those areas kind of redeemed Tokyo for me, they were so relaxed!

Back to Nagoya for a day. Boring. My Nagoya friends know ;)
