Porthtowan and Penzance

Stayed Tuesday night in a little surfing town called Porthtowan, which is apparently the best surfing beach in England. Mark and Nicholas went for a swim, me, I'm still too whimpy to get in! Walked to the top of a hill and watched the sun set. On Wednesday we made our way round the coast to Cape Cornwall and Land's End. Cape Cornwall was fantastic with it's rugged cliffs and more hill to climb. Land's End was very touristy but we went to say we'd been. Stayed the night in Penzance, seemed a bit of a sleepy town, but nice all the same. Checked out St Michael's Mount this morning which is a church on a wee island. Back in Bath tonight, got here about 7.30pm and went to have tea and did a quiz night. Came 6th (out of 6) well what do you expect when all the questions are to do with Britains!!!
