Work starts early in the morning. Residents usually get water first from the public pump. They pay 5php every gallon.

Students go to the morning shift of school as early as 5:30am riding a boat.

Each boat costs 10,000php. Most of them could not afford one. They pay 10php a ride to get them to places. As for visitors, they are charged 50-100php as help for the residents.
