Day 109 - Panama City

PANAMA | Monday, 22 September 2014 | Views [352]

Possibly still struggling with aftermath if Fridays festivities we headed out in the pouring rain to find a laundromat & then mission to check out the Panama Canal.

Our cabbie on the way to the Canal was hilarious. He introduced himself as Mark Anthony and while he wasn't the 'Mark Anthony', he was a musician and sang to us for most of the drive! We ended up at a free lock along the canal to take some photos rather than going to the tourist centre. The canal is super impressive & Mark Anthony also doubled as out your guide telling us random facts about the city.

He dropped us back in casco viejo, we walked to the city along the malecon & then back to the fish market for a ceviche fix.

Spent the rest of the day chilling out & sorting essentials for our five day sailing trip to Colombia. All packed & sorted it was a night where we barely strayed from the hostel couches.
