yay! i am here in ecuador. So far the experience has been amazing. I am currently in the capital, Quito. Today we went to the equator, went to the largest basilica in South America (La Iglesia de la Compania), to the Ecuadoran version of the Statue of Liberty (La Virgen del Panecillo, and to the main plaza (similar to the White House in the US). The view from my hotel room in Quito is absolutely breath taking. I am overlooking the mountains, even a volcano that erupted just last week! Well, i am leaving Quito tomorrow morning... miss you all! LOVE
