Day 3 – Friday, July 8th – Grant Village to Colter Bay Campground, Teton National Park

USA | Monday, 1 August 2011 | Views [423]

Spectacular scenery…but hard to enjoy it with the non-stop traffic…and the RV’s seem to be getting bigger! The route crossed the Continental Divide several times, with snow pack still on two of the passes. Lots of mosquitoes attack you seconds you stop for a break; this keeps the breaks short and to a minimum! The ride out of the park was a most excellent 5-mile downhill; I braked to slow the ride so I could enjoy it more.

Colter Bay Campground has a hiker/biker site, where we met Seth Buller who has been on the road for the last year, cycling between organic farms, here’s his blog http://www.freewheelin.info/home We traded stories around the fire I made and drank a few beers that Harvey got from the campground store.
