Spoke to Charlotte today, she's still trying to rent out her house. We've got just under 3 weeks before we head off, so she's understandably anxious. Luckily she has me to arrange travel insurance and our first couple of nights in Sydney when we arrive. I'm also visualing her finding the perfect tenants. It worked for me (touch wood!)
The countdown has begun, I have just two more weeks at BBC left then my leaving drinks. My girls said last night they might take the following day off work! Hmmm, maybe I should make it later than a 3pm start so I don't embarrass myself?! We'll see.
I have a to do list the length of my backpack but getting through it all. And trying to remember all the great tips people have given me so far. I ordered a camera yesterday - a Panasonic Lumix which is a bridge to digital SLR. I can't wait for it to arrive and start snapping.
