Islas de Gigantes: The Unknown, but not hidden

Islas de Gigantes is known as the Kingdom of Queen Scallops.  This particular type of scallop has a very minimal bacterial content , which makes it the only type to be accepted for export in the U.S.  Gathering  queen scallops is one of the most common sources of living of the fishermen.  The immense supply of scallops, they can literally collect up to two to three tons daily!
