Islas de Gigantes: The Unknown, but not hidden

There are seven islets surrounding the main islands of Gigantes. This is one of the interesting islets, the Cabugao Gamay Island. In Ilonggo dialect "Cabugao" means pomelo and "gamay" means small. The island is famous to tourists because of its breathtaking aerial view.

Fossils of the Gigantes (means giants) are being preserved in the caves of the island. According to folklore, giants used to live in these islands. And that's where the name Islas de Gigantes came from. Islas de Gigantes in Carles, Iloilo is one of the unchartered tourist destination in the Philippines. If you're a big fan of spelunking, be amazed with the stalactites and rock formations inside the cave.

Antonia Island is one of the famous islets because of its pristine beauty: white sand, crystal clear water and magnificent rock formations. It is one of the best sites for snorkeling.
