I’m Judy Glenn from Athens, Georgia. I have a master’s degree in P.E. and health, taught many years, and owned a business. Since my business closed, I have been scouring the internet and magazines 24/7 to become a better photographer.
My passion for photography is now an obsession! The perfectionist within me bleeds into my work as a photographer. I love the adventure and thrill of getting the perfect shot, and the new Canon equipment will advance my quest.
I have contacted the botanical garden about leading hummingbird photo shoots and providing a map for visitors to find hummingbirds in the garden. I will continue to give back through my photography after the scholarship as well.
Traveling the world capturing it one photo at a time as a profession while experiencing other cultures like Oman and its people will be a dream come true. This opportunity is a miracle and will make me the happiest person on the planet. This scholarship will better me, my photography, and most importantly I will receive invaluable mentoring by Jason. Jason’s expertise about all aspects of photography from composition to post-processing will be life changing to me.
