DAY 55. Banana Pepper

NEW ZEALAND | Tuesday, 20 December 2016 | Views [168]

I slept in a little and showered. After a bit David and I headed into the city center to a cafe called the Banana Pepper. It was a great little place and the quiche, butterscotch treat, and coffee I ordered was wonderful. Talks over a quality cup of coffee are always the best. We went to New World afterwards and then back to the house. I spent the rest of the day up until dinner organizing, repacking, and situating all of my stuff so I'd be close to ready to leave to Auckland the following day. I did a few loads of laundry while putting dinner together. Dinner turned out well and we watched the evening news again.

I finished laundry and cleaned up in my room. Ryan and I were on the phone until late at night.
