The Murray

As Paris was staying with us during the last week of the school holidays we decided to head for the Murray.We stayed in a lovely old stone cottage at Walker's Flat. Peter and Paris went fishing and caught some large carp. We took the car on the ferry and explored the area, Nildotie and some places where Peter had spent some holidays camping and fishing in 1978 and 1989. All the lagoons on the Murray have completly dried up. It would take a mammoth flood to fill all these lagoons. We had a great time, fishing, walking and eating yummy food.
