Jinja, Uganda

Sorry about not writing in the journal for awhile but I've been lazy these past couple weeks. Jinja's known for white water rafting on the Nile. So we signed up for a day long white water rafting trip. It's supposed to be the hardest rafting you can do without having a rafting license, or qualifications. We did mainly grade 4 and 5 rapids. Our boat flipped a couple times. We flipped one time in a grade 5 and I got caught under some current thing in a rapid and almost drowned. Luckily it spat me out right before I lost conciousness. I did end up swallowing a couple mouthfulls of Nile river water while I was flailing around in the rapid thing. That might be why I've been lazy for like 2 weeks, I probably have some weird African river brain disease that makes me not want to do stuff. On the plus side, I'm in Kabale which is on the border of Rwanda. This place has the best and cheapest accomadation I've had in months. Also it's the best food I've had since I've been in Sub-Saharan Africa. I'm tired of fried chicken. Fo' reals. Oh also, sorry no pics. I didn't bring my camera and anyway I was busy either paddling or holding on so I didn't faceplant into a rock or something.
