'I love a sunburnt country' You cant beat a summer in the Southern Hemisphere!

My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited - 'I love a sunburnt country'

These strange crescent shaped objects are often mistaken for jellyfish and as a child most Australian kids will remember picking them up, or squishing them between our toes as they do not sting and are absolutely everywhere there is water. These clear, wobbly jellyfish looking things are actually the egg sac from the conical sand snail each containing hundreds of snail eggs. This lone egg sac caught my eye as the sun was setting over the bay as it is very rare to just find one on its own, it just seemed to be so content with the fact that it had prime position for the days sunset.
