I fell almost instantly in love with Santorini. From meeting Yorgos who picked me up from the port, the scenery on the drive to Perissa, to my walk around Perissa. Being here is exactly what I wanted and needed.
Watching the colours of the sunset over the Aegean sea at Perissa's famous black sand beach, I was struck with an epiphany. I am in love with the simple life. Although I've been awed by the impressive works of art in the rest of Europe, it's always the simple places that strike my heart so endearingly. When I'm clise to nature and its divine simple beauty, I'm happy. This is the missing piece to the puzzle I've been trying to figure out recently.
I'm so happy I've got another five days here!
