My trip here can be described in two words: long and overwhelming. I flew from Indianapolis to Chicago to London to Delhi to some extra stop (This is where I became confused and had to ask someone what was going on --and they told me we were not in Mumbai and more people were getting on. Also during this stop, they did a security check of the plane and our luggage--and I wasn't sure if I should be concerned or scared, so I decided not to be.) on to Mumbai to Bangalore. Likely because of the extra stop, we were late getting to Mumbai, which caused me to nearly miss my plane. I was told in a scolding tone that I was very lucky and that I got the last seat and only was going to make it because the flight was delayed. I met some Americans on the shuttle from the international airport to the domestic airport in Mumbai as we were trying to figure out what we were doing (yeah, it was like that). My baggage was checked and my strip search went okay (just kidding); my last task was to make it to the terminal in time. After I began running I caught up to my new American acquaintances and made it to my flight in time.
"Welcome to India!" he yelled.
That pretty much summed it.
Welcome to India..
