Obviously wanted to warm up a little from Hobart temps but 47 was prob a tad much. Managed not to pass out from heat and jet lag, just! Discovered too hot to walk about so went for a swim instead in refreshing 28 degrees... and then did the City Merchant tour which we thought would be an afternoon jaunt so not factoring in 6hrs and getting back at 8pm. Still it was value for money and saw the 'Sail' hotel, mosques, palaces, gold and spice market etc. I was poss a little disorientated when I jumped out of bed at what \i thought was 6.20am, showered woke \john up and then as he was cleaning his teeth had to sheepishly tell him that altho \i set the alarm the time was wrong, both our watches said 12.30am. \i now know what happens if \i go to bed with wet hair. It becomes very curley!!
