I love London Still

No hog-wog washes to great us anywhere so so far so good!

Staying in a great little spot called Chalk Farm nr Camden Town. Melb grunge would aspire to this. Did the tourist thing today: Parliament, Westminster Abbey, London Eye (that was the highlight), Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Picadilly Circus and Leicester Square. Back in CF and there is a thunderstorm happening with accompanying hail. Not too keen to leave here now! Wonder how far the closest pub is. It is p*ssing down!!

Sorry for crap spelling. Could blame the keyboard but now you can tell how much \i rely on spell check, he he! Except for the pesky back slash.

I can't even comprehend what 47 degrees would be like!! Is Chalk Farm actually a cool place, or were you being ironic? How is John enjoying the London experience?

Everything is good here. Jo doesn't have swine flu (but I think you already know that).I've got a bit of a virus, but I seem to be getting better quickly.

Hog wog washes sound awful! Are there any extra security precautions at the airports? Is everyone wearing face masks?

Keep up the good work and now you're in the UK, staying out of meltdown temperatures should be possible! Kisses from us

Strangely no face masks Janet! Not a single one in Melb airport. And yes Chalk Farm is great. Right up our alley and good value for $100 a night. John loves London too. Will be sad to leave. Love the English accents too. When I get back i'll be making Carolan talk constantly to remind me!
We've been in a few pubs Tania but no solid drinking. Maybe in Scotland! Have a feeling I'll be doing the driving while John is whiskey tasting. Although it is supposed to be medicinal!
