Wheat fields and Ranges

Wheat fields and Ranges

Tuesday 1st December

Hopetoun

Woke to a beautiful morning view of the ranges and had a sumptuous breakfast of fresh blueberries and yogurt followed by brewed coffee and toast – love our camp kitchen.

We've decided to get a move on so headed back down south east towards the town of Hopetoun which is the gateway to the Fitzgerald  River National Park.  Unfortunately, the camping sites in the National Park were closed due to recent bush fires so we again gave ourselves the luxury of a powered site at a caravan park.

The park was in a lovely location right next to a deserted beach so we made the most of the afternoon to top up our tans and catch up on the novels.
