Rottnest Island is also a part of Nic's families
history. He remembers as a kid, playing in the buildings that were
on the island. We took the ferry to the
island for a day of biking, beaching and bushing. A beautiful part of the world with pristine
beaches that glow with white sand and aquamarine water. Mind you, the water was a little colder than
we have been experiencing for the past few months in the Mediterranean, the
middle east and Asia. But for water and
sand/beach quality, you cant beat good old Australia.
A final dinner with the family tonight and then
it's off on the road again, this time in
Oz.
