Matt's taken two days off work to play chauffeur for us.  Today we checked out the 4x4 van that we will be picking up on Wednesday to see what it needs to be kitted out with to our satisfaction.  It looks good but a few basic modifications and it will be great. After all, it will be our home for the next 6 weeks.

The hire company provides all the necessary items for touring but we thought that the bed would need a few additions: foam underlay, sheep skin underlay, comforter rather than sleeping bags and big fluffy pillows.  There's camping and there's Glamping ... guess which one is us?

When Nic's father's family settled in Western Australia after emigrating from Italy in the 40s, they had landed not far from where Matt and Jo live.  As a recognition of the Italian immigrants, the local council has named streets after the families, so today, we visited Yacopetti Crt. More of a track really, but a new area with some nice homes already built.
