No Bathers Allowed!

Thursday 27th August

Malaga

Slow start to the day on the terrace overlooking the sea.  In the morning we visited a couple of local villages including Nerja that has a stunning cliff top position.  At the end of the main square is ¨The Balcony of Europe¨ with its cliff top view out over the sea.  All the images of the Costa del Sol are found right here – narrow cobblestoned streets, restaurants on the square, turquoise blue water, English tourists standing outside real estate offices talking too loudly, stony beaches filled with umbrellas and people enjoying the laid-back lifestyle.  We could certainly get used to it.

The main highlight of today was lunch with a group of friends of the boys and then to the nudist beach east of Malaga – so European!  Big brown boobs and willies aplenty. It was again a beautiful little Mediterranean beach with boats bobbing off the coast and a sign saying it was illegal to wear bathing costumes.  The Spanish know how to live!
