Had
a town car to take me to the airport and it was fun t cross the
bridge and see the Queen Mary 2 berthed in the port of NY. The
flight to Wilmington was painless and I arrived to the waiting Aussie
flag outside Frank and Shirley's home. We have not seen each other
for 10 years so it was a special reunion. The bonus was that their
daughter, Maryanne, was home as well.
Friday

Marianne
and I headed for the beach to top up our tans. It was very 'Jaws'
for me. Long sandy beaches with cute seaside houses and a very long
pier. Lunch with Shirley then back home for a siesta. North Carolina
is humid too. Tonight we made our pilgrimage to my favourite
restaurant in Wilmington where the make the best crab cakes.
