Along the Malecon: The Malecon is a beautiful sweeping highway that runs the length of Havana's waterfront and is often referred to as the collective living room of Havana.

A View to the Past: Havana is a city of many contradictions. Yet, when you travel there is feels as if you are suddenly transported back in time to the 50's, surrounded by old American cars and crumbling buildings. This picture signifies the old world feeling of the city, combining both the old cars and the old city in the background. The golden glow from the sun setting makes it looks at if the photo is as old as everything in it. The picture was taken from the Christ Statue on the hill above Casablanca across Havana Harbour from the city.

Gateway to Havana (view from Fuerte El Morro): Fuerte El Morro is the military fort located on one side of the entrance to Havana Harbour. This was one of the first and last places sailors would pass by on their way in and out of the city, embarking and returning from their journeys.
