Homeless, near Pashupatinath temple: I had been to Pashupatinath temple two times during my short stay in Kathmandu. The Hindu temple, situated on both sides of the Bagmati river, is a metaphor for the duality of life & death, creation & destruction. On both occasions I passed by this mysterious homeless person in the same place facing the wall, of unknown gender and age. This person for me is a constant reminder of the plight of the marginalised and displaced in society.
